Loesch: Americans Are Tired of Being Manipulated & Lied to by Mainstream Media
May 25, 2017
Following Montana Republican congressional candidate Greg Gianforte’s alleged assault of a reporter, some in the mainstream media are trying to blame the incident on President Trump.
CNN host Don Lemon argued that Trump has culpability because he’s said “very horrible things” about reporters and suggested that they are the enemy of the American people.
MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell said that Trump has helped whip up “hostility” toward the press, while Joe Scarborough said a “straight line” can be drawn between Trump’s anti-media rhetoric and the Gianforte incident.
On “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Dana Loesch said the agenda-driven media is focused on negatively portraying Trump, while they’re largely giving Democrats a pass.
“Let’s discuss Tom Perez and his cussing crusade that he’s been giving at so many different fundraisers. Let’s talk for a moment about the California Democrat convention … where you had a number of Democrats on stage screaming ‘expletive Trump’ and ‘expletive Republicans.'”
She said Democrats and the mainstream media then want to turn around and accuse Trump and those on the right of fomenting violence.
Loesch said that everyday Americans see this double-standard, and they are tired of it.
“We’re tired of being lied about, we’re tired of being manipulated, and we’re tired of them excusing awful things done to us in the name of partisan ideology,” Loesch said. “This is the point we are at because people hate media this badly.”
‘The Left Has Gone Insane’: Tucker on Progressives’ Use of Political Violence
May 25, 2017
In his opening remarks tonight, Tucker Carlson denounced Montana Republican congressional candidate Greg Gianforte for body-slamming a reporter who tried to ask him a question.
Tucker said this highlights the growing problem of violence in politics, which is simply never acceptable.
He said Gianforte, who has been charged with misdemeanor assault, may be a Republican, but the threat of violence in the current political climate comes overwhelmingly from the progressive left.
“The left has gone insane. And if you don’t believe it, check out what’s been happening to non-liberal members of congress lately,” Tucker said, pointing to Republican members of Congress Martha McSally, Tom Garrett and David Kustoff, who have recently been on the receiving end of harassment and death threats.
He acknowledged there will always be “loonies” in a country of 320 million, and political movements shouldn’t be judged solely by their violent outliers.
“And yet when every conservative speaker on campus is an excuse to riot, when every Trump rally is a chance to assault someone wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat, when your party’s elder stateswoman is famous for celebrating racial violence during the L.A. riots – as Maxine Waters is – it’s no longer a matter of outliers,” Tucker said. “It’s something very different.”
He said political parties exist to conduct politics, which is supposed to be conflict without bloodshed.
“The moment those parties embrace violence – not just committing it, but also excusing, condoning, fantasizing about it – they are no longer political organizations. They’re awfully close to militias,” Tucker said. “And the rest of us are definitely much closer to the breakdown of everything we cherish in this country. Violence is the bright line, and they’re very close to crossing it.”
President Donald Trump’s latest pick to aid in an “America First” immigration plan is now being attacked by a media agency funded by billionaire George Soros.
ProPublica, a media organization backed by Soros’ Open Society Foundation, attacked Trump’s pick to run the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency, Lee Francis Cissna, which facilitates a large portion of federal immigration issues.
Among the multiple attacks on Cissna, the ProPublica piece made a point to blast the USCIS nominee for his work on immigration issues with Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley (R-IA), hitting him for opposing the Obama-era expansion of rights for illegal immigrants:
From 2015 until earlier this year, Cissna worked for Grassley on immigration issues, having been detailed to his staff by Homeland Security. During that time, he remained on the agency’s payroll.
While there, he drafted dozens of letters under the senator’s name to Homeland Security officials, helping Grassley, an Iowa Republican, to intensify his oversight of immigration and creating a blueprint for dismantling President Obama’s initiatives, according to a dozen current and former agency and congressional staff members.
The Soros-backed media outlet portrays Cissna as a shadowy character who ghost wrote letters for Grassley which slammed the Obama Administration’s lax enforcement of immigration law.
One of the positions Cissna is being attacked for was work against a 2016 plan to give illegal immigrants protected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) the option of obtaining travel documents, aside from their work permits.
Cissna also opposed the use of requesting asylum by illegal immigrants who arrive through the U.S-Mexico Border, writing in 2016 that crossers would continue “asserting dubious claims of asylum, which will practically guarantee their entry.”
Center for Immigration Studies Director Mark Krikorian told Breitbart Texas that Cissna is the “first person ever” to be nominated to head up USCIS who actually has worked in immigration law and policy.
“He’s uniquely qualified. He’s been an immigration lawyer,” Krikorian said. “He’s been in charge of immigration policy for DHS, even under Obama.”
On the attacks from a Soros-supported media outlet, Krikorian said this is business-as-usual for the media, noting how they have attacked almost all of Trump’s immigration hires.
“Anybody that Trump Administration nominates to any immigration post, has a target on his back,” Krikorian said. “I’m surprised there hasn’t been even more targeting of Cissna. Literally every single person who is involved in any immigration decision has been criticized.”

Bozell Blasts Advertisers That Dropped Hannity
Media Research Center President Brent Bozell issued a statement Friday condemning liberal calls for advertisers to boycott conservative commentator Sean Hannity.
The unwarranted boycott push is part of liberals’ efforts to silence conservative views and re-establish a monopoloy of the information the American public can access, Bozell notes in his statement:
“The attack on Sean Hannity is a part of the liberal strategy to re-establish their monopoly over television news. They want only one voice on the air: their own. All others must be silenced.
“We now see elements of corporate America joining in the liberal cause and advancing the liberal strategy. These corporations are not serving the interests of their customers. Sponsoring a free, meaningful dialogue based on mutual respect reflects what happens among consumers in everyday life. When corporations withdraw from that debate, it does not serve the interests of their country, it merely makes them servants of the politically correct.
“It is especially disappointing that an upstanding company like USAA would so easily succumb to the pressure of left-wing extremists. For decades, Sean Hannity has been a fierce supporter of the military at every turn. And this is how you treat him?
“We have remained silent for far too long. A bridge has been crossed. Stay tuned.”
