Taya Kyle, the widow of American Sniper Chris Kyle, appeared on Fox News Wednesday evening to decry the liberal attacks on Carryn Owens, the widow of U.S. Navy SEAL William “Ryan” Owens, who was killed in Yemen in January.
During President Trump’s speech to the joint session of Congress, the President honored Owens and his family for the sacrifices they have made for their nation. In a heartfelt and touching display, the President praised the fallen soldier and promised his wife that her husband would never be forgotten.
Sadly, in the aftermath of those comments, unhinged liberals across the media spectrum have been attacking and demeaning both the President and the Owens family. They claim that the President was simply using the fallen hero as a “prop” and they’ve denigrated Carryn Owens for being too naïve to realize she was being used.
For example, Democrat activist Dan Grilo immediately tweeted, “Sorry, Owens’ wife, you’re not helping yourself or your husband’s memory by standing there and clapping like an idiot. Trump just used you.”
But it wasn’t just Grilo saying ridiculous and disgusting things; the same kind of commentary could be heard coming from the talking heads at MSNBC.
Hopefully MSNBC and their stable of ignorant and unfeeling liberals will face the ire of the American consumer for their horrible comments about Trump’s decision to honor Owens and his family.
Everyone Gives Standing Ovation for Slain Navy SEAL’s Widow…Except These Two Democrats

President Trump paid tribute to the wife of fallen Navy SEAL William “Ryan” Owens during his first speech before a joint session of Congress.
During these types of political speeches, it’s very important that members of Congress stand or stay seated depending on what the President says. In fact, I’d say that people who watched the speech were more interested in how members – in particular of the opposing party – reacted to statements that Trump made during his speech. They wanted to psychoanalyze their body language.
For most of the speech, the Democrats stayed seated, and the Republicans gave multiple standing ovations. When Obama was president, it was the other way around.
However, there are certain times during these speeches where it would be virtual political suicide not to join with everyone else in a standing ovation. One of those times was when President Trump honored the widow of a fallen soldier. It was the first soldier who lost his life in the battlefield on Trump’s watch.
Everyone joined in the emotional 2-minute standing ovation. Everyone except two Democrats. And not just any two Democrats. One was the head of the Democratic National Committee, and the other is the current deputy chairman of the DNC.
Here’s video. Look closely:
