Intelligence Community and Media Threaten Liberty in Maligning Trump
As the spurious allegations of the intelligence community — including an unconfirmed litany of ridiculous claims of bizarre sexual goings-on — against President-elect Trump continue to fill headlines, they appear to say more about those making and repeating the allegations than they do about the man being so unceremoniously maligned.
Many in the liberal mainstream media have taken the story and run with it as if it were verified fact, when in reality it has not been — and appears impossible of being — verified. While the claims of the dossier are far-fetched and stretch the imagination past the breaking point, the claims of the online community, 4Chan, that anonymous users of the site created the story out of thin air, seem much more credible. This would mean that both these mainstream media outlets and the intelligence community are guilty of sacrificing basic investigative techniques and critical thinking by running with a story simply because it fit a preconceived prejudice. And fed a narrative.
While this has been a divisive issue — drawing fairly clear lines between those at one end of the political spectrum and those at the other — there are some in the media who have maintained some sense of journalistic and investigative integrity and have not bought into the frenzy. Notably, neither the New York Times nor the Washington Post published details of the alleged dossier because they could not verify its authenticity.
In fact, in his first press conference since his electoral victory, Trump — while blasting media organizations such as BuzzFeed and CNN for giving this story their imprimatur — took the time to voice his appreciation for those media organizations that wisely stayed away from pretending this was anything more than the outlandish speculation that it is.
While both the New York Times and the Washington Post have certainly been guilty of reporting falsely in the past and may reasonably be expected to do so again in the future, this issue appears to have been too far beyond the pale even for them.
If journalistic and investigative integrity can be measured on a spectrum, BuzzFeed, CNN, and others who treated this as confirmed intelligence would be at one extreme end and — at least in this case — the Times and Post would be somewhere in the middle with the other extreme end of that spectrum occupied by Glenn Greenwald of The Intercept.
Greenwald — a man no one could accuse of being a Trumpeteer — chose neither to stay away from the story nor to rubber-stamp it as genuine. He did what he does best: he reported on this by stating facts and providing context. Rather than simply avoid the story as the Times and Post did, Greenwald chose to attack it and expose it as the dangerous propaganda it is. In an article published online on Wednesday, Greenwald made the salient observation that those who — because of their hatred and distrust of Trump — bought into this without demanding proof are guilty of ignoring President Eisenhower’s farewell address advice to “guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex.”
While expressing his view — which is shared by many across the political spectrum — that a Trump presidency is fraught with danger, Greenwald wrote:
The serious dangers posed by a Trump presidency are numerous and manifest. There are a wide array of legitimate and effective tactics for combating those threats: from bipartisan congressional coalitions and constitutional legal challenges to citizen uprisings and sustained and aggressive civil disobedience. All of those strategies have periodically proven themselves effective in times of political crisis or authoritarian overreach.
But cheering for the CIA and its shadowy allies to unilaterally subvert the U.S. election and impose its own policy dictates on the elected president is both warped and self-destructive. Empowering the very entities that have produced the most shameful atrocities and systemic deceit over the last six decades is desperation of the worst kind. Demanding that evidence-free, anonymous assertions be instantly venerated as Truth — despite emanating from the very precincts designed to propagandize and lie — is an assault on journalism, democracy, and basic human rationality. And casually branding domestic adversaries who refuse to go along as traitors and disloyal foreign operatives is morally bankrupt and certain to backfire on those doing it.
Regardless of whether one is enthusiastic or fearful of a Trump presidency, Greenwald makes a good point. Allowing the intelligence community — made up of a group of secretive agencies whose stock in trade is deception — to tell Americans what to believe without any burden of providing proof empowers a secret government to rule over the citizens without limit. There is no version of that that ends well.
Both the intelligence community and the media have a responsibility to prove their claims. The more weight those claims have, the greater the burden for providing proof. In this case, that burden is high and that side of the scale sits conspicuously empty.

Was Leaked FakeNews an Attempted Coup? Should There Be Arrests?
IT TURNS OUT JEB BUSH IS THE GUY WHO STARTED ALL THE ‘#GOLDENSHOWERS’ NONSENSE

What a fitting end for ol’ Jeb
Imagine being Jeb Bush right now.
He raised the most money of any Republican candidate for president during the primary stage of the the 2016 cycle (more than all the other candidates combined, in fact). He was preordained by the media and the GOP Establishment as the man who was going to be their standard-bearer. Not only did he fail at becoming the nominee, he was humiliated and memed into oblivion. Him and his family repeatedly spoke out against Donald Trump, even after Trump secured the nomination. And now, come to find out, Jeb Bush is also the one behind the ridiculous “#PissGate/#GoldenShowers” nonsense.
Steele was initially hired by FusionGPS, a Washington, DC-based political research firm, to investigate Trump on behalf of unidentified Republicans who wanted to stop Trump’s bid for the GOP nomination. The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported that Steele was initially hired by Jeb Bush, one of Trump’s 16 opponents in the 2016 Republican primary. It was not immediately possible to verify the BBC’s report.
He was kept on assignment by FusionGPS after Trump won the nomination and his information was circulated to Democratic Party figures and members of the media.
What a fitting end for ol’ Jeb. He just keeps on losing to Trump on every level imaginable.
Editor’s note: With regards to What Does It Mean, considered by many to be a disinformation site, these days it is difficult to discern what is “Fake News”and what is not. The Washington Post, BBC, CNN and the New York Times are all ‘”Fake News,”as they have proved themselves to be in the coverage of the coup in Ukraine, the war in Syria and the last US Presidential election. None of them covered the contents in the Wikileaks documents or investigated them.
This report is based on the author’s view and the evidence that the author has at hand with back up links for the statements made. Please explore them. As I keep saying, these days it is very difficult to discern what is a “fake”news story and what is accurate. It is up to the reader to do comparative studies in all reports and all news outlets, especially Independent Media in order to come up with a conclusion that is as close to the truth as possible.
from What Does It Mean:
A truly grim Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) report circulating in the Kremlin today states that 3 hours ago [1137hrs local Moscow GMT+3/0337hrs local Washington D.C. GMT-4], the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) came to the defense of President-elect Donald Trump and canceled the leaves of all of its 35,000 agents, intelligence analysts and employees in a bid to stop the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) from overthrowing the democratically elected government of the United States.
According to this report, SVR analysts over the past fortnight became “intrigued/concerned” after the FBI began relocating 13 of its estimated 14 Enhanced Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams from all around the United States to MacDill Air Force Base (MAFB), Florida, where they were all then placed under a joint command structure with the US Militaries Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).
These FBI SWAT teams, this report explains, function as a high-level national commando organization in extremely sensitive or dangerous situations, and who in the past have secretly joined forces with their US military Special Forces counterparts at JSOC.
As to why these FBI SWAT teams were coordinating with their US Military Special Forces counterparts, this report continues, became “open/transparent” on 6 December when General John “Mad Dog” Mattis (President-elect Trump’s choice to be the next US Secretary of Defense) held a “private/secret” meeting with President Obama at MacDill Air Force base—after which Obama shockingly told a gathering of US soldiers that they “have the freedom to question authority which includes the right to criticize any sitting president”.
Within 72 hours of President Obama stunningly telling American soldiers that they could, in essence, freely disobey orders from their military commanders and/or president, SVR analysts in this report note, on 9 December Obama’s White House announced that they had started an investigation into Russia’s supposed interference in the 2016 US presidential election—and that was predictably followed 3 hours later by The Washington Post publishing a “bombshell” article stating that Russia was directly involved in manipulating this election so that Trump could win.
Important to note, this report says, (and as we’ve previously reported on) The Washington Post is one of the CIA’s “main/central” propaganda mainstream media “fake news” outlets that was purchased by the shadowy American billionaire Jeff Bezos (the founder of Amazon.com) 3 months after the CIA had given him a staggering $600 million secret contract—and who just weeks ago put 200 American alternative media websites on a list of “known Russian propaganda”, but then had to retract this spurious claim as being “fake” after being exposed for the charlatans they really are.
Immediately following The Washington Post’s publishing of this “fake news” claim that Russia was in anyway involved in the 2016 US presidential election, this report continues, former CIA analyst Bob Baer (the unofficial media spokesman for the American Deep State) shockingly began advocating for a new election to be held—and that led to Alex Jones, one of America’s top alternative news leaders and top Trump confidant, to warn that President-elect Trump is now in danger of being assassinated.
Not being told the American people about the Obama-Clinton-CIA-Washington Post “fake news” claim of Russia’s involvement in the 2016 presidential election, this report details, is that the FBI had previously stated that these spurious allegations were not true—and who, in a secret US House Intelligence Committee meeting, were told by top FBI official that he could not conclusively confirm the Russian collusion behind Trump’s victory contrary to the claims of CIA.
Agreeing with the FBI about who really leaked Hillary Clinton documents, this report continues, is Craig Murray, the former UK ambassador to Uzbekistan, who just hours ago called these CIA claims “bullshit”, adding: ‘They are absolutely making it up. I know who leaked them, I’ve met the person who leaked them, and they are certainly not Russian and it’s an insider. It’s a leak, not a hack; the two are different things. If what the CIA are saying is true, and the CIA’s statement refers to people who are known to be linked to the Russian state, they would have arrested someone if it was someone inside the United States. America has not been shy about arresting whistleblowers and it’s not been shy about extraditing hackers. They plainly have no knowledge whatsoever”.
Supporting Ambassador Murray, this report notes, is US Ambassador John Bolton who, likewise, just hours ago stated that the CIA is now conducting a “false flag” operation to overthrow President-elect Trump.
However, SVR analysts in this report state, with the “fake news” mainstream propaganda organs supporting Hillary Clinton not telling the American people the truth about the CIA’s “silent coup” against President-elect Trump, they are, instead, being told that the 19 December Electoral College vote to install Trump as the next president must be stopped until “Russian interference” is fully investigated and that Trump has already violated his oath of office by not protecting and defending the United States because he refuses to believe the CIA.
Astounding to note too about the 2016 US presidential election, this report continues, are that these very same mainstream propaganda media organs supporting Hillary Clinton were the “real/true” perpetrators of “fake news”, not Russia—and that one of their “fake news” operatives, Marco Chacon, in creating hundreds of “fake news” articles about Trump that were spread by the mainstream media freely admitted to, and then who relished in his deceit of the American people by stating: “It’s way to easy to dupe the Right on the internet”.
With the main criteria being used by the CIA and Hillary Clinton in their “silent coup” against President-elect Trump that anyone wanting peace in our world is now a “Russian agent”, this report concludes, the truest reason for the CIA’s attempting to overthrow Trump lies in their fears that Germany is, likewise, ready to turn against these satanic globalists too—and who were all horrified and stunned after what happened last week when German TV-channels conducting a live broadcast of President Putin’s address to the Russian parliament, while at the same time were carrying out an opinion poll over phone, showed that fully 81 percent of respondents turned out to declare that they trusted Putin, with these results being immediately taken off the air.
And though not mentioned in this report, it’s critical to note that the last American president to go to war against CIA was John F. Kennedy, who vowed to splinter this accursed spy agency “into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the wind”—but who was gunned down before he could even get started after the CIA ordered his Secret Service protective detail to abandon this beloved American leader resulting in his head being blown apart in full public view as an example of their power.
