Sarah Palin Endorses Paul Ryan Challenger Paul Nehlen: Ryan’s ‘Political Career Is Over’ for ‘Disrespecting the Will of the People’
Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin endorsed Speaker Paul Ryan’s primary challenger, businessman Paul Nehlen, who is running for Ryan’s seat in Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District.
“Rep. Paul Ryan abandoned the district he was to represent as special interests dictated his legislative priorities,” Palin wrote on her Facebook page this morning. “Without ever having a real job outside of politics, it seems he disconnected himself from the people, thus easily disrespected the will of the people.”
“It’s time for a change. I’m supporting the independent conservative businessman, Paul Nehlen, to return the House Speakership to ‘We The People’. Here’s the worthy challenger, Paul Nehlen,” she concluded, adding the link to Nehlen’s website.
In an interview with CNN’s Jack Tapper this morning, Palin addressed the issue of Ryan’s refusal to support the GOP’s presumptive nominee Donald Trump, who Palin endorsed before the Iowa caucuses.
“I think Paul Ryan is soon to be ‘Cantored,’ as in Eric Cantor,” she said in reference to the former Republican House Majority Leader who lost his Congressional seat in 2014 due to a stunning and unprecedented GOP grassroots uprising in support of his challenger Dave Brat, who ran on the same populist issues of immigration and trade that have propelled candidates like Donald Trump and now Paul Nehlen.
Palin said, “[Ryan’s] political career is over but for a miracle because he has so disrespected the will of the people, and as the leader of the GOP — the convention — certainly he is to remain neutral, and for him to already come out and say who he will not support was not a wise decision of his.”
“I think why Paul Ryan is doing this, Jake, is it kind of screws his chances for the 2020 presidential bid that he is gunning for. If the GOP were to win now, that wouldn’t bode well for his chances,” she added. “A lot of people with their ‘Never Trump’ or ‘Not Right Now Trump’ mantra going on, they have their different reasons. That one is Paul Ryan’s reason.”
Tapper then asked her if her reference to Cantor meant that she was endorsing Ryan’s primary challenger Paul Nehlen.
“Well, that’s a good question, seeing as I haven’t even got to call him and tell him that I’m supporting him. But, yes, I will do whatever I can for Paul Nehlen,” Palin said.

Paul Ryan is yesterdays bearded whatever. He can even grow fangs and that won’t help him! He has proven unfit to hold a position of neutrality and therefore is not a part of the American way. It is obvious he is establishment 101! His entire puppet status is one of butt licking and because he has jumped when lobbyists say jump and ran puppy laps when establishment donors said, “run laps”, he has proven without a doubt to be unworthy to be speaker of the house or hold office! He got his bone, let him gnaw on it until the other dogs come home. He is definitely not even worthy of the doghouse and now on the streets like the junkyard candidate he is! Who in the heck told him speaker of the house was like a mini god in America? It don’t work that way at all. In fact the voice of the people was ‘NO RYAN AS SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE!” But, once again, that loud voice got drowned out by the other butt lickers in the house. Today is a new day and one where the voice of the people shall be heard.

Ryan is so typical of testosterone overfill….has nothing to offer but a pathetic workout regime that fails all except the one who directly benefits off of self glory. The sad part is there is no mass behind his self muscle. Sad. Very sad. He needs to get a grip on what his real day job is. Anyone else noticing how the political media and #NeverTrump camps are shifting the “conservative” litmus goalposts to circle the wagons around Paul Omnibus Ryan?
The larger Vichy Republican Tribe is being resoundingly defeated by the Monster Vote, the broad-based Trump Coalition. There’s a particular humor in noting there’s more of us holding the whack-a-mole hammers than the popping up heads of the failing punditry.
The same thing happened in 2009/2010 when the Tea Party coalesced fiscal conservatives. If you can generate a large enough movement, in this case the Trump Coalition, each person carrying a thimble full of water can fill a swimming pool containing all the politicos just by the sheer numbers within the assembly.
When a magnitude of the electorate begin focusing on a single objective, the DC snorkels begin taking on water, they can’t breathe, they need: A) the water to stop; and, B.) Snorkel extensions.
Team Trump is currently thumping the professional political class. They are simply being defeated. Historically, whenever this happens the GOPe begin looking for something ideological and political they can frame as a win to preserve the morale of the usurping agents.
By all accounts it appears they’re looking at “Saving Paul Ryan” to be that “shiny thing”.
